How the Selection Process Works at Vest Ventures Pre-Acceleration 🚀
You applied to the Vest Ventures Pre-Acceleration Program? Amazing, we’re excited to have you here. And because we want everything to be clear from the start, here’s a quick breakdown of how the selection process works and what happens next.
First things first
This edition is 90% online.
That means you can join from anywhere: home, a café, the mountains, or even the beach. All you need is:
a laptop,
a stable internet connection,
and the motivation to build something real.
We’ll handle the rest. ✨
How do we select teams?
We focus on 3 main things during the selection process:
1. The problem you’re solving - we look at how clearly the problem is identified and whether there’s a real market need for your solution.
2. The team - a strong idea needs the right people behind it. We evaluate the team’s ability to build, adapt, and execute.
3. Scalability potential - we’re looking for solutions that can grow and create long-term impact.
📌 Important: participants are required to attend at least 80% of the program sessions.
Program timeline 📅
Here are the key dates:
June 13 - Application deadline
June 14 – 16 - Phone calls to schedule interviews
June 17 – 19- Interviews
June 20 – 23 - Eligibility evaluation
June 24 - Final selection results
July 3, 2026 - Program kick-off, in-person at Cowork Timișoara
July 4-5 - First in-person weekend at Cowork Timișoara
July 25, 2026 - Demo Day, in-person at Cowork Timișoara
And to make sure distance isn't a reason to stay home, for participants from the western part of Romania, Arad, Deva, Hunedoara, Reșița and beyond, we cover both transport and accommodation for the first in-person weekend. For Demo Day, we've got your transport covered. We want you there, no matter where in the west you're coming from.
