Vest Ventures ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the vestventures.vc website and provides venture capital accelerator services (collectively, the "Service").

When you apply to our pre-accelerator or accelerator programs, we collect: company name and registration details, business plans and pitch decks, financial projections and business metrics, team member information and CVs, product or service descriptions, market analysis and competitive information, funding history and cap table information, and other materials submitted as part of your application.
When you access our website, we automatically collect information that your browser sends to our servers. This may include your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data that may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Vest Ventures uses the collected personal data for the following purposes: to evaluate applications to our pre-accelerator and accelerator programs; to provide, maintain, and improve our Service; to communicate with you about program updates, events, and opportunities; to share relevant opportunities with our consortium partners (Growceanu Angel Investment, Cowork Timișoara, Iceberg Plus, and Startup Wise Guys) where you have consented; to connect you with potential investors, mentors, and industry partners; to comply with legal obligations, including those related to public funding requirements; to detect, prevent, and address technical issues; and to provide analysis and valuable insights to improve our programs.
Our legal basis for collecting and processing personal data depends on the specific context: Contractual necessity (when we need to perform a contract with you, such as providing accelerator services); Consent (when you have given explicit permission, such as for marketing communications); Legitimate interests (when processing is in our legitimate business interests and does not override your rights); and Legal obligation (when we need to comply with the law, including public funding reporting requirements).
We may share your personal data in the following circumstances: With consortium partners (Growceanu Angel Investment, Cowork Timișoara, Iceberg Plus, and Startup Wise Guys) for program delivery and evaluation; With ADR Vest (our public funder) as required for reporting and compliance purposes; With mentors and investors when you participate in our programs and with your knowledge; With service providers who assist us in operating our Service, subject to confidentiality obligations; and As required by law or to protect our rights and the rights of others.
Vest Ventures will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including public funding documentation requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Application materials for unsuccessful applicants are typically retained for up to two (2) years to allow for reconsideration in future cohorts, unless you request earlier deletion.
