Our commitment

Vest Ventures is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This commitment is part of the horizontal principles assumed under the West Regional Programme 2021–2027 (Regulation (EU) 2021/1060), which require equal opportunities, non-discrimination and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the European standard EN 301 549, and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), applicable from June 2025. We continuously work to maintain and improve accessibility for new and existing functionality.

Measures taken

Among the concrete measures implemented on this website:

Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
Accessible names for icon-only and logo links.
A consistent, hierarchical heading structure.
Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a “skip to main content” link.
Visible keyboard focus indicators and full keyboard navigation.
Colour contrast that meets the WCAG AA minimum.
Support for the “reduced motion” system preference.
A declared page language and a bilingual interface (English / Romanian).

Known limitations

Some content published through our content management system or provided by third parties (for example embedded forms or social media) may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively addressing these areas.
